When Momma Mumtaz Appa raised her son Adil in Karachi, Pakistan, she did so with tender-loving care. Every day she provided him a healthy & fresh home-made meal the same way her Mother did for her. When most parents wished for their sons to become financially successful, Mumtaz prayed every day that her son would grow up to become a person whose deeds are of ‘’goodness & kindness’’. ‘’Be honest with everyone you meet’’ she would urge young Adil. It isn’t without coincidence that the Karahi Point chain of authentic Pakistani cuisine has a secret ingredient in each recipe – “honesty” Fulfilling Momma Mumtaz’s kind wishes, every dish created at Karahi Point restaurant is done so with “goodness & kindness” It’s an “honest” dish, prepared only the way Momma Mumtaz would have prepared it herself! Momma made dishes with incredible passion and love. That is her legacy that I want to share with you!
